Wait Pool
If our classrooms are fully enrolled, families may have the opportunity to apply for our Wait Pool. Our Wait Pool contains applications from families seeking enrollment at Clover Montessori School. It is a Wait Pool, rather than a Wait List, and enrollment is not offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
When an opening becomes available, we review the families in our Wait Pool and make enrollment decisions based on the needs of the classroom and the information provided in each family’s application. We make every effort to thoughtfully balance our classrooms in accordance with the Montessori method.
The following factors may be considered when reviewing applications in the Wait Pool:
Does the child have previous experience in a Montessori environment?
Does the family understand and support the Montessori approach to education?
What schedule is the family requesting?
Does the child have a sibling currently enrolled at Clover?
Is the family a Clover alumni family?
What age is the child entering?
To be placed in our Wait Pool, families may submit an Application for Admission and a $75 non-refundable Application Fee.

When an Opening Becomes Available
If an opening becomes available during the academic year, we will contact families in our Wait Pool whose applications may be appropriate for that opening. We may invite the family to visit Clover with their child.
Once a child is accepted, the family will be offered an Enrollment Contract and a proposed start date. The child’s place will be held once the completed contract and non-refundable enrollment deposit have been submitted.
If an opening does not become available during the year for which a family originally applied, the application will automatically remain active in our Wait Pool for the following academic year. Clover does not require families to submit a new Wait Pool application each year.
Re-Enrollment and Wait Pool Enrollment
Clover opens re-enrollment to current families in February. Once current family re-enrollment is complete, any remaining openings are offered to families in the Wait Pool beginning in March, before available spaces are opened to the public.
Because our classrooms are carefully balanced, being in the Wait Pool does not guarantee enrollment or a particular start date. Families are encouraged to contact our Assistant Director for updates as their circumstances or enrollment needs change.
